FGR KIT COMPETITION

OCTOBER WINNERS.

Chicago Marathon Medal earned October 12th 2025 – my humble contribution to spreading the word of the world’s greenest football club did make it to a new continent! Is the new kit able to give wings on the other side of the Atlantic just as the zebra-striped did in Europe on many occasions? Definitely! This kit is so energetic, it made me cut off nearly three minutes from my London finishing time – some may call that quite a leap (tonk, doonk tonk). Poor Chris, as you will know it’s actually my 6th marathon in a FGR kit.

René Pfleger
our inexhaustible German-Dane from North Jutland

Richard Miller – A Stroudie taken at Selsley Common, a favourite jumping off point for hang glider devotees

This month I got out to fly my paraglider at Selsley Common in my home tree frog kit. I’ve found FGR shirts great for all sorts of exercise for many years and always have one of them on when flying. They are useful when hitch-hiking back to take-off… Unless I find myself in Cheltenham, when I will get the train instead.

Lee-David Murphy and children following a Beach Clean Up – a day trip to the border of Poland in the state of Saxony and we went to the “Rakotzbrücke” it’s both mythical and magical, not to mention stunning, plus was a great way to celebrate our Beach Clean Up – October edition. We are fully aware that we cannot win every month and it’s not our intention, however we want to participate and have fun at the same time.

Show us your FGR kit “in the wild”!

Rock your shirt on a beach, a mountain, or a city street.

Snap it at a festival, on the school run, or in your local shop.

The more unusual (and fun) the backdrop, the better.

The twist: don’t just send us the photo, make sure the caption gives the context. Did you climb a tree to honour our frog? Did a passer-by ask you what planet we came from? We want the tales as much as the photos. We’ll pick our favourite and the winner will score an exclusive REFLO Supporters Pack. Sustainable. Stylish. Seriously green.

So, where will your Barking Tree Frog leap next?

Let’s have some fun everyone. Come on Rovers!

The rules are simple:

That you must be a Member of FGR Supporters Club to enter. If you’ve lost track, just email me and I’ll tell you. Otherwise, joining is very simple, just click this link (Anyone under 18 years can join for just £1). You will get a quick reply and welcome from me

Email your photo to me Chris Gardner (Chris.j.f.gardner@gmail.com)

You MUST INCLUDE the following

Your Name

A Descriptive Caption for the image

The image must feature the main subject wearing FGR kit

Confirmation that you have the Consent of all pictured (including for posting on the FGR & FGR SC websites)

At the end of every month, The Supporters Club will provide Reflo with a shortlist from which to pick a winner, all the way through to May 2026. The first will be chosen at the start of October. If possible, there will be a on-pitch presentation at the first available home match and we’ll publish a gallery here on the FGR Supporters Club website each month.

All welcome including our International supporters

The Supporters Club would like the competition to complement the growth in International FGR Supporters. So, if you have friends or family beyond our shores, or have made new friends whilst on holiday, perhaps encourage them to join the Supporters Club and send their competition entries. Existing International Members are of course eligible anyway

Note: The new ‘Barking Tree Frog’ FGR kit seems to be popular wear at FGR games already. However, until 1st January 2026, the competition will be open to photos showing FGR kit from any previous season, not just the latest Reflo kit, to make sure that the maximum numbers of fans have a chance to win
