FGR Away Travel

Subsidised Travel

If you are an adult Supporters Club member you will be entitled to a £3 discount off the cost of each away trip (this applies this year to ALL ages).  This means you could repay your membership very quickly – a real bargain!!

You can also book away travel and away tickets by phone or in person.  You will need to mention you are an SC member to get your discount (you don’t need to provide proof of SC membership when you buy a travel ticket – it will be cross-checked on the coaches).

FGR away travel is subsidised and organised by FGR Supporters Club and FGR and is run in conjunction with KB Coaches.  The aim is to encourage as many fans as possible to go to away matches to support the team and to reduce car usage. We will try to run a coach to all FGR away matches and to make this as affordable as possible (in spite of recent increases in costs).  It is important to book early – not only might the coach be full, but, especially for the longer journeys, a decision will need to be made a week ahead as to whether the running of a coach is viable.  The Supporters Club will run additional coaches if there is demand but, to avoid disappointment, you do need to book as early as possible.

The Travel Club

If you plan to travel to quite a few away games this season, you should think about the SC Travel Club.  Supporters Club adult members will pay £610 to entitle them to travel to all away league games.  The cost for u-16’s is £315 and for u-11’s £150.  Your Travel Club seat is transferable (you will just need to let us know who will be travelling instead of you).

Payment for the Travel Club can be by lump sum or 12 monthly payments by Standing Order.

Coach travel to games gives you convenient, relaxed, and timely travel.  Regular stops on longer journeys ensure your comfort is catered for with food, drink and other needs.  Please note that UK law allows no alcohol on coaches.
