The Irishman signed his first professional deal when joining Sligo Rovers.He established himself as their number one before Wrexham signed him on a loan in August 2023 with an option to buy in January, which they triggered.

At the start of last season Luke signed on loan at Rochdale before returning to Wrexham in February due to injury.

Luke was one of Robbie Savage’s first signings in July 2025

Making 44 appearances and scoring three goals in the last campaign earned him a place in 2024/25 Premier Division Team of the Season.

Inniss has played at the highest level having joined C Palace as a 14-year-old but didn’t make his first team debut until August 2018 in an EFL Cup match and remained on Palace’s books until 2020 when he joined Charlton on a free transfer.

Inniss made 41 appearances for Charlton in season 22/23 across all competitions, featuring in both League One fixtures against Forest Green. He also occasionally wore the captain’s armband during his three years in South East London.

Ryan has represented England at U16 and U17 levels, scoring the winning goal in England U16’s 2–1 Victory Shield win over Scotland in 2011. He is also eligible to represent Trinidad & Tobago at international level, through his Trinidadian-born father.

Jordan came through the academy at Exeter and played for the Grecians between 2012 and 2018 before following his former manager, Paul Tisdall, to MK Dons. Injury blighted the latter part of his 2019/20 season and he was one of nine players released by the Dons in 2020, which is when he made the move to Rovers.

Nick Haughton joined FGR from AFC Fylde having spent eight years with the north-west club.

He enjoyed an excellent 24/25 campaign at the Coasters – scoring 19 league goals and made a number of assists missing just one match all season.

His performances and numbers caught the eye across the division as he was named in the National League Team of the Season.

The 30-year-old has spent seven years at Fylde – making 273 appearances in all competitions.

Jili began his career with Hornchurch but has enjoyed a rapid rise having signed with the Blades in 2021.

He joined National League side Rochdale on loan last campaign and went on to make 24 appearances for the club.

He operates predominantly down the left side and featured at The New Lawn when Dale travelled to Rovers back in January 2025.

Starting his journey in Tottenham’s Academy, Clarke made his mark when winning the National League South Player of the Month in December while at Dulwich Hamlet. He was signed by League Two Gillingham the following month.

Last season, he became a key part of The Gills side, making 33 appearances and proving to be a goal threat from midfield with last season’s seven making Clarke their league top scorer.

Previously at FGR (2016–19) Christian joined Hibernian in the summer of 2019 from Forest Green, where he went on to make 148 appearances, in which he scored 41 times for the Scottish side.

In his previous time at FGR he became the club’s all-time record scorer with 66 goals in 122 appearances.

He scored in the play-off final at Wembley against Tranmere, scored FGR’s first ever EFL goal, and a memorable strike away at Cheltenham Town which helped keep the club in League Two in FGR’s first ever EFL season.

Max Robson joins FGR on a free transfer following his release from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2025.

The 22-year-old spent 15 years at Spurs rising through the Academy ranks before leaving the club this summer.

Versatile Robson can play in a number of positions including across midfield and at right-back.

He made just shy of 100 appearances across the U21s and U18s age groups but featured many more times throughout his academy journey through the age groups.

Bunks is one of our own, coming through the FGR Academy system having joined the club at the age of 16 and signing his first professional contract with Rovers in 2020.

The 2022/23 campaign was a breakthrough season for Harvey Bunker. The versatile youngster played 20 games and was named as FGR Young Player of the Season.

Harvey was even given the captain’s armband when Rovers played Wycombe Wanderers: a proud moment for everybody associated with the FGR Academy.

Jay began his career in the academy at West Ham United, where he made 26 appearances for the Hammers’ Under-18s before moving to Charlton Athletic in July 2021. The right-sided player spent a short period with the Addicks before making the switch to Portsmouth in September 2021.

He was subsequently snapped up by Sky Bet League One side Stockport County, making 15 appearances in all competitions during the 2024/25 season for the Hatters. Mingi joined Crewe Alexandra for the early part of the current campaign, making 9 appearances before heading to GL6 to complete the season on loan with Rovers.

Jose Marquez recently signed his first professional contract with Forest Green Rovers having progressed through our Academy system.

The young forward has caught the eye in three National League Cup appearances and whilst on loan at Hungerford Town, finding the net on a regular basis.

The 19-year-old is in double figures for goals in 2025 combining his football between Rovers and the Southern League Premier South side.

The central defender joined Woking at the start of the National League 2024/25 season following his release from Aldershot Town, making 29 appearances in all competitions.

The Swansea City and Wales youth product is another player familiar with the southwest having had a loan spell with Cheltenham Town before donning the shirt for Bristol Rovers and Swindon Town.
