The winner of October’s Reflo/FGR SC Photo Competition was one of the Supporter’s Club’s international members, René Pfleger, a German national who has lived in Denmark for many years. Selflessly, FGR ‘marathon man’ René asked that his prize be given to someone who the Supporters Club felt deserved the award for other reasons. Even more generously, he bought a new Reflo FGR training top to be added to the prize to be passed on to our nominee. René agreed with our nomination, Lucy Magill, who works tirelessly on a variety of tasks for FGR Supporters Club. In a set-up worthy of ‘This is Your Life’, dad Terry Magill colluded with us to surprise Lucy before the Weston Super Mare FA Trophy match. Congratulations Lucy and massive thanks to René. (He will be at TNL for a home match in 2026, so supporters will have an opportunity to hail him for all the running and work he does to promote what FGR stands for.
