TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS 2026/27 SEASON

The Supporters Club and FGR in Partnership to Deliver Away Travel for the New Season.

We will try to have a SC coach to every away match – league and all the cup competitions – to follow the First Team. If there is sufficient demand to run more than one coach, even better!

Changes for 26/27 Season:

  • Away travel prices have been frozen for the 26/27 season.
  • Travel Club prices are also frozen, with adults travelling for just £26.52 per game*.
  • The 4 long-distance trips will only operate if sufficient numbers are booked.

Travel to support FGR by coach with the Supporters Club will be priced as follows:

For the 25/26 season, coach travel incurred a significant operating loss, with most of this coming from just a few long-distance trips (i.e. Carlisle) that had low uptake.

So for 26/27 season, the coach travel for the four long-range trips (Harrogate Town, Barrow, Carlisle United & Gateshead) will be subject to a minimum number of bookings, and thus may not operate.

The decision will be made two weeks before the game so that supporters have sufficient notice and so that we can avoid any cancellation fees for the coach.
If a coach does not operate to an away game, any supporter who has booked on will receive a full refund, and Travel Club members will also receive a pro-rata refund.

All other remaining league games will operate as before, with at least one coach travelling to each game.

Distance Adult Under 16 Under 11
Short Range £29 £18 £8
Medium Range £35 £20 £10
Long Range £44 £25 £12

All FGR Supporters Club members will continue to be entitled to a £3 discount per seat, across all categories.

Short range fixtures: Aldershot Town, Eastleigh, Kidderminster Harriers, Solihull Moors, Tamworth, Woking, Yeovil Town.

Medium range fixtures: AFC Fylde, Altrincham, Boreham Wood, Boston United, FC Halifax Town, Hornchurch, Scunthorpe United, Southend United, Sutton United, Wealdstone, Worthing.

Long range fixtures: Barrow, Carlisle United, Gateshead, Harrogate Town.

* Travel Club members pay a lump sum of £610 to travel to all 23 National League away games or monthly by Standing Order for the 12 months August to July. For those aged 16 or under the price is £315. Under 11’s are £150.

To become a Travel Club member, join the Supporters Club and then contact the SC Treasurer, email Richard.treasurerfgrsc@rwkaccounting.co.uk or ring Richard on 07800802714, to sign up. Your seat will be reserved for every away League match. If, for any reason, you cannot travel and you haven’t nominated a substitute, then please let the club know, preferably a week ahead, so that the coach travel list is accurate on the day of travel.

All those travelling will need to have provided a mobile phone number and home number to be used in an emergency, when booking.

Note that with most of our National League opponents, match tickets for away games can be bought online via the host club.

Coach Arrangements.

All coaches will have a SC representative on board. There will be an aboard goal-time raffle, so bring your one pound coins to buy tickets. Comfort, food and drink stops are made on all journeys of over two hours. Please note no alcohol is allowed on the coach, whether to drink or not. No smoking or vaping either! You can bring your own food and soft drinks to consume on or off the coach.

Coach pick-up points.

  • FGR, The New Lawn, Another Way, Nailsworth, GL6 0FG. There is parking at the ground when FGR are playing away.
  • Sainsburys, Dudbridge GL5 3HG. Look for the bus stop outside Sainsbury’s supermarket on the A.419 (picture below).
  • Stonehouse, Springfield Business Centre, Brunel Way, Stonehouse Industrial Estate, Stonehouse GL10 3SX. Brunel Way is off Oldends Lane. From Stroud (heading towards M5) on the Bristol Road (A419) turn right at the Bonds Mill (Costa Coffee) Roundabout into Oldends Lane, turn left at the next roundabout into Brunel Way (Muller on your right, Furlong Flooring on your left) and Springfield Business Centre is first turning on your right. (Antics Models is the first company sign you will see) This is a small cul de sac and parking spaces are generally owned by companies some of whom work weekends and evenings so you will probably have to park on Brunel Way (see picture below).

Please park responsibly & legally at all the pickup points.
