Away fans are housed in the modern West Stand (SD Samuels Stand)at one end of the stadium. Up to 1,200 fans can be accommodated in this area. As you would expect from a new stand the views of the playing action and facilities are both good.
The stand itself is easily the best stand at the stadium, so it is intriguing that it is given over to away supporters. It is raised above pitch level, meaning that you have to climb a small set of steps to enter it. One drawback is that the team’s tunnel is located in this stand and the awning is pulled out to the playing area before kick-off. This means that at this time fans can’t easily access the other side of the stand along the front of it, as they are effectively ‘cut off’ until the awning is withdrawn again.
This stand is all seated and has catering facilities and a bar which will be open before the game and at half-time. Entry is via turnstiles 9-11 which are accessed via the rear of the main car park, or through the gates from Pondfield Park to the rear of the ground. Turnstiles will open one hour-and-a-half before kick-off.

A former striker for the club, the 44-year-old took over as manager in March 2023 after predecessor Daryl McMahon was sacked the previous month. He steered them to a 10th-placed finish in the National League by the end of 2022-23 and 15th last season, but he has overseen just seven wins from 23 league fixtures this term, with the Daggers currently five points above the relegation zone.
Assistant boss Lewis Young (pictured) tool charge of the team on a temporary basis while the club looked for Strevens’ replacement but on 16th January 25 he was conformed as the permanent manager. Lewis Young played right back for Watford, Burton, Northampton, Yeovil, Aldershot but mainly Crawley for whom he made over 200 appearances. On retiring from playing he joined the Crawley coaching staff. Lewis was twice caretaker manager at Crawley.
Lewis played one match for FGR on loan from Burton under then manager David Hockaday but he was recalled early as Burton had an injury crisis. Lewis is the younger brother of Ashley Young. the England international who plays for Everton. Ashley Young was coached by David Hockaday as a youth at Watford

The club was formed in 1992 through a merger of Dagenham and Redbridge Forest, the latter merged from Ilford, Leytonstone and Walthamstow Avenue. The club’s traditional colours are red and blue, to represent the merged teams. The club replaced Redbridge Forest in the Football Conference but were relegated in 1996. They won the Isthmian League title in 1999–2000 and qualified for the next three Conference play-offs, missing out on the 2001–02 title on goal difference and losing the 2003 Conference Play Off Final . They secured promotion into the Football league after winning the Conference title in the 2006–07 season. They then moved up from L2 after winning the 2010 Playoff Final, though were relegated the next season after finishing 21st in L1. Dagenham were relegated back into non-league football and have remained there since 2016.
In summer 24 the club was bought by Club Underdog, a subsidiary of US-based company North Six Group, whose aim is to return Dagenham to the EFL Club Underdog also owns four other teams, including Campobasso and Ascoli in Italy, Swiss club FC Locarno, and Brooklyn FC in America.

- Eastbury Manor House – Set in tranquil gardens this Elizabethan house, in an unusual setting, is an unexpected treasure in the heart of Barking.
