Away supporters are mostly housed on the East side of the Mackoy Community (South) Stand at one end of the stadium. This all-seated stand is covered and is of a good size, having a capacity of over 2,000, although the normal number of seats made available to visiting fans is around 500. The stand is quite tall and so you generally get a good view of the playing action, however it does have a couple of large supporting pillars at the front of it, that could get the way of your sightlines. In addition, away fans are given a portion of the covered East terrace (towards the South Stand) so visiting supporters have a choice of standing or sitting. There is normally a good atmosphere generated inside the groundAway fans are now allowed to freely move around the stadium to access other facilities such as toilets.
Turnstiles open at 1:30pm and the away end is accessible only through turnstiles 1-4.

By Train
Southampton Airport Parkway station is served by trains from Southampton, Reading and London Waterloo.
From Stroud it takes about 2 hours and involves changing at Reading.
Southampton Airport Parkway is only about half a mile away from the ground and takes about a twenty minutes to walk. As you come out of the station, turn right and then cross over to the other side of the road. Turn left at the brown sign advertising the Lakeside Miniature Railway and follow the road and footpath through the Lakeside County Park. You will come out of the park onto a main road, which you crossover at the pedestrian crossing and then proceed down Stoneham Lane in front of you. This will probably be closed to traffic. On your right you will pass St Nicholas Parish Church which is famous for its One-Handed Clock. Silverlake Stadium is on the left shortly after the church. There is also taxi rank outside the station,
Bus – The number 2 bus stops just a short walk away
By Car
From the Stroud area it is about 100 miles and takes about 2 hours.
Supporters wishing to park at the Silverlake Stadium on a match-by-match basis can park in the Lower Hardmoor car park which is in the field behind the south stand and a road entrance on Stoneham Lane. Although there are about 600 places, most of these are booked for the whole season. So there only about 100+ places available on a first come first served basis. After the match the car park will be closed for 10 minutes after the fixture for supporters on foot to leave the car park. In order to avoid undue congestion, all cars are to turn left when exiting the car parks.
One option is parking at Southampton Airport Parkway and walking from there.
Blue badge holders should contact tickets@eastleighfc.com to reserve a space in the main stadium car park.

Manager
Kelvin Davis played as a Goalkeeper He began his career with Luton as a youth player in 1991 and remained there until 1999. Davis later played for Wimbledon, Ipswich and Sunderland before moving to Southampton in 2006. Davis was team captain of Southampton from 2009 to 2012, after which he became club captain
On 13 July 2016, Davis was appointed as Football Development Executive at Southampton to provide support to the players in the first team.[ On 29 December 2017 Davis was appointed as senior first team coach following the resignation of Eric Black On 3 December 2018, he was placed in temporary charge of the first team, following the dismissal of manager Mark Hughes On 25 May 2022, Southampton parted ways with Davis after confirming a change within the coaching team.
On 19 February 2024, Davis was appointed manager of Eastleigh. Following the conclusion of the 2023-24 season, Davis signed a new three-year contract
Assistant Manager Danny Butterfield – He played football at the very highest level, he played 232 times, scoring 6 goals, for Crystal Palace where he was a crowd favourite. Danny was normally a right back but when Palace were in administration, due to a lack of players, he sometimes played as a forward. In the FA Cup 4th round in 2010 he scored a hat trick against Wolves in less than 7 minutes. He scored with his right foot, left foot and his head – the perfect hat trick. Neil Warnock only picked him as his wife Sharon had had a dream that Danny would score the winning goal. It is still the fastest hat trick ever scored by a Palace player and lets face it there have been a lot of Palace hat tricks.
After Palace Danny moved to Southampton where he played 44 times. He started his coaching career at Southampton and has coached at various other clubs – MK Dons, Macclesfield, Lincoln City – joining Eastleigh in February 2024.

Club History
Promotion to the National League in 2014.
Eastleigh FC was founded on May 22, 1946, by Derik Brooks and a group of friends at the Fleming Arms public house in Swaythling, Southampton.
The club’s rise began when they were promoted to the Hampshire League in 1950 after two seasons in the Southampton Senior League (West). In just a year, they topped Division Three (West) and secured the Hampshire Intermediate Cup.
By 1955/56, Swaythling was competing in the Hampshire League Division 1. They returned to this level as champions of Division 2 in 1970. The club’s name changed to Eastleigh FC in 1980, and they became founder members of the Wessex League in 1986.
Eastleigh won the Wessex League in 2002/03 and were promoted to Division One East of the Southern League. They went on to secure promotion to the Premier Division of the Isthmian League eventually earning promotion to the Conference South.
Over nine years in the Conference South, Eastleigh twice came close to earning promotion to non-league’s highest tier but narrowly missed out on both occasions. They also had a memorable run in the FA Cup and secured silverware in the Hampshire Senior Cup in 2011/2012.
In 2014, Eastleigh clinched the Skrill South title, gaining promotion to National League and are now in the tenth season competing at this level.
What Are They Thinking

Mascots
Eastleigh’s colours are blue and white. They play in predominantly blue shirts with a white trim. They have white shorts and blue socks.
The club were without an official nickname until 2005 when a competition was run amongst the fans and “Spitfires” was chosen by supporter Mike Wimbridge. The Spitfire aeroplane was built in Southampton and first flown from Eastleigh Aerodrome, now Southampton Airport
After the club gained its official nickname the club had an irregular mascot, Sammy the Spitfire, who was a dog. However, in 2015 a new mascot was selected, Brooksy the Bear, in honour of Mr Derik Brooks, who founded the club in 1946.
Places to Visit
- Comedian Benny Hill lived in the town. Hill’s first job was at Woolworths on Leigh Road, Eastleigh. He then moved on to be a milkman for Hanns Dairies, on Factory Road, now Wells Place. His time working in Eastleigh on a horse-drawn milk float gave him his inspiration for his hit record, Ernie, The Fastest Milkman In The West. In Hill’s honour, a plaque has been put up close to the site of the now demolished Hanns Dairies building and a new road has been named Benny Hill Close, though many of the people who had bought the new homes were not happy with the decision. An alternative suggestion was Cowpat Lane.
