The coastal town of Akrata is in southern Greece, at the top of the Peloponnese peninsula and about an hour from Athens.  It’s a small town, about the same size as Nailsworth.  The ruins of the ancient city of Aegae are found nearby.

It is home to a great looking beach and is set in some spectacular mountain scenery.  It is also home to the Akrata Forest Green Rovers supporters group!  The group are part of Rovers’ International Fan Brigade and they have links with a sister group in Athens.
