Die-hard FGR fan, Martha, took time out recently to visit one of her favourite players.  Brentford’s Myles Peart-Harris was on loan at Rovers last season and has had another loan spell this season at Portsmouth.  Martha has always had a soft spot for Myles – she thinks he has great hair, apparently!

On Saturday 20th April me and my mum drove down to Pompey to watch them play against Wigan in there final home game of the season.

We have stayed in contact with Myles Peart-Harris since he left fgr last summer and he arranged for us to go down for a visit.

It was so lovely to see him again. He met us outside the stadium and surprised me with a signed Portsmouth shirt of his. We then spent time with Myles family in the players friends/family lounge before heading out to find our seats.

The game ended in a 2-1 loss but we then got to see them lift the league 1 trophy as the champions! It was a really good atmosphere.

I loved meeting up with Myles again and look forward to seeing where he plays this season! Hopefully we will get to visit again!
