EFL League 2 National Predictions
With the opening games of the season having been played we thought it would be interesting to look at a summary of the various predictions in the National press and gambling sites.
The competitive nature of the league has never been more apparent with no less than sixteen clubs being mentioned for either their automatic promotion or play-off chances.
Leading the pack for automatic promotion are Plymouth Argyle closely followed by Mansfield, Bradford City and new boys Salford City.
The leading play-off contenders are Scunthorpe United closely followed by Forest Green Rovers, Newport County, Leyton Orient and Northampton. Other teams mentioned as possibly getting into the play-offs include Walsall, Swindon, Exeter, Stevenage,Colchester Crewe Alexandra and Carlisle United.
At the wrong end of the table Macclesfield, Morecambe, Crawley and Cambridge United are the most often mentioned candidates for relegation.
After watching the opening game against Oldham we think FGR fans can be quietly confident especially after the second half performance.
